For the last few years Mountain Heaven Ltd has been arranging the corporate winter conference of a leading specialist global management consultancy. This has involved meeting and greeting the staff of the company who had travelled from all over the world arriving at various airports, train stations together with those who have self-driven, all requiring a significant level of co-ordination due to the many different arrival time (and of coursed at the end of the conference the many differing departure requirements!).
The traditional catered chalet concept whereby guest would normally have to share bedrooms to ensure that the cost of the accommodation is economical simply would not work with many corporate guests who want their own individual bedrooms. Thus the innovative solution that Mountain Heaven Ltd came up with for this organisation that did not want to spend considerable amounts of money but wanted to reward their staff by holding the conference in an Alpine environment was to accommodate the guests in our extensive range of self-catered properties in their own individual bedrooms in the wonderful resort of La Plagne Montalbert and then to arrange the conference facilities at the local village conference /meeting centre. In addition during the days the conference was on all meals were arranged with breakfast and lunch delivered to the conference facility and then local restaurants in the village together with one evening in a mountain restaurant were booked to accommodate the 80+ guests for the evening.
Due to the economical nature of using the self-catered apartments for the accommodation not only could the conference be held but all staff offered the options of arriving before the mid-week conference or staying after the conference to take advantage of the winter sports facilities available.
