Last season Val Thorens introduced quite a few new developments to the resort, now it’s all about upgrading their chairlift for maximum efficiency and comfort!
The Moraine chairlift has been replaced with a €13 million 10 seater gondola which will provide easier transportation to the blue pistes, Moraine and Genepi.
To give skiers and snowboarders a more comfortable ride, the gondola features heated seats so you might find it hard to get off!
It is able to take 2,800 skiers per hour, vastly improving the speed of transporting skiers and snowboarders around the resort, as well as providing access to the Col chair and amazing views at the Glacier de Thornes.
The upgraded lift will be beneficial to those looking to improve their skills on the slopes and enjoy a fun filled skiing trip.
