Introducing Courchevel Le Praz
Courchevel Le Praz is full of traditional chalet architecture, looking out across the resort on the wooded slopes of Courchevel you see a pleasant scattering of chalets and lodges with welcoming streets in a bustling resort centre. If you’re looking for the ‘Chocolate box’ experience, Le Praz is the Courchevel resort for you. From Le Praz at 1300m you can directly access all the attractions of the Three Valleys one of the worlds largest and most popular ski areas.
Skiing in Courchevel Le Praz
The Foret Chairlift and the Praz Gondola take you out of Le Praz and up the mountain. In normal snow conditions you can ski all the way back to Le Praz with a choice of tree lined pistes to get you home. From the Foret Chairlift you can take on the red, blue and green runs through the trees to La Tania or head on toward and over the top at Col de la Loze to Meribel and beyond. If you take the Praz Gondola out of Le Praz you can ski into the other Courchevel villages and further explore the Courchevel ski area and all it has to offer. There are pistes for all abilities and attractions like the Courchevel Toboggan Run, the Folie Douce and all those hundreds of kilometres of piste.
The ski back to our ski chalets in Le Praz is beautiful; enjoy tree lined pistes down into Le Praz, which are some of the prettiest runs in the Three Valleys ski area. It is generally snow secure with north facing slopes and an extensive network of snow cannons. You can ski back to within 100 metres of the chalets along a winding forest piste - or simply take the Telecabine down if you feel like a more leisurely way back to your chalet.
Chalets in Courchevel Le Praz
Our self catered chalets in Courchevel are located in the delightful, friendly village of Courchevel Le Praz. It is a true Savoyard village and is easily the prettiest of the four Courchevel villages with a quaint village square, traditional chalets and narrow cobbled streets. The ski jumps which were built for the 1992 Olympics dominate the hillside, whilst elsewhere in the village one can find a selection of shops, restaurants and bars to unwind after a day in the mountains.
We have the stunning Jardin D'Angele and Chalet Emilie located down a private driveway very close to the lifts. Jardin D'Angele sleeps 10 people and Emilie sleeps 8 people and both can be combined to sleep 18 people. All are located in superb positions just a minute or so from the lifts.
Apres Ski

Transfers
Transfers: We work with a number of trusted transfer partners and transfers can be booked direct with them from our Transfer page
Car Hire: For smaller groups, hiring a car is a cost-effective choice for bridging the gap from the airport to Courchevel. If you are arranging your car hire yourself from Geneva Airport, be sure to pick up your vehicle from the Swiss side of the airport as cars hired on that side have the motorway pass already in the car.
Note: Snow tyres and /or Snow Chains are mandatory for all cars in Switzerland and in France
Bus: There are bus services from Geneva Airport to Courchevel, although it is advised to reserve your seats beforehand to avoid disappointment – particularly in the peak periods where booking is essential. For those looking to use the bus, we recommend visiting either Altibus or Bens Bus
